Mena Alexandra Suvari (born February 13 1979) is a famous American actress fashion designer and model. She started her modeling career in the year 1990, and then moved into acting, after appearances as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. In 1997 she debuted as a film actress in Nowhere. With her performances on American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to be awarded an award called a BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned more attention from the public as she stepped into more prominent roles. The next time she appeared was in Loser (2000) in which she starred alongside American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Later she played the lead character on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2002). Spun as well as Trauma a thriller film from 2004, were two of her appearances. In 2004, she was a guest in HBO's series Six Feet Under. She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2005 as part of the Outstanding Ensemble.
